About The Squirrel Trail

The Squirrel Trail is the new thematic path in the protected natural area Făgetul Clujului – Valea Morii, it is circuit type, is 4 km long and was arranged this autumn by to the Centre for Bat Research and Conservation (Lilieci.ro), in partnership with the Transylvanian Nature Association and sponsored by Betfair Romania Development.

The 7 information panels placed along the route cuprind interesting and diverse information about the creatures of the Forest I’m doing it. In addition, boxes have been installed for bats, squirrels and birds that can be seen near the billboards informative, along the route and at 10-20 m on the left and right Route. For checking the boxes we recommend binoculars, flashlight with focus and camera.

Route it is easy, it does not present difficulties unfolding on roads and trails already existing inaposition to be tough andhas been arranged in order to inform and sensitize visitors to the values the natural and protective status of the area. For guidance were placed signs of the shape of white squirrels as well as arrows Indicator.
