The Monkeys

The group must choose one Leader or Guardian, after finding a place with trees that can be climbed or playground structures that are appropriate for safe climbing. 

Rule no.1: the Guardian must place a stick near a tree trunk or next to a steel pole that can be climbed.

Rule no.2 : all the other children must climb on the tree branches (not too high) or on the playground structure. The only one who stays on the ground is the Guardian (of the stick:)

Rule no.3 : The children ("monkeys" in the game:) must try to take the stick and throw it as far as possible, so the Guardian doesn't get it easily.

Rule no.4: The Guardian must recover the stick and try to catch a "monkey", before he or she gets back up on the tree branches. Whenever a "monkey" is touched or caught by the Guardian, it takes his/her place and the game continues

The Guardian must guard the stick, not let the "monkeys" take it or throw it away, while the other children must play the "monkeys" that have to trick the Guardian and get to the target without being caught. If they are caught, they become the Guradians.
