What statue am i?

This is an Art Game, so expect children to learn a lot about art, after they play this game. Prior to playing, they will need to pick-up an art book, with pictures of statues made by various artists (you can as well use Google to find pictures of statues, but we recommend using a book ). The game is similar to the one almost all children know, when they have to mimic an object, a person, an idea, or whatever the rest of the kids decide.

Rule no.1: The group of participants must be split into 3 parts: one person that will mimic the Statue, one small group (or one person)that will choose what Statue will they imitate, and another group (or person)that will have to guess what it is and how it is called

Rule no.2 : the group that chooses the Statue and mimics it is not allowed to tell the other group, any information about their choice. You can set-up a certain amount of time for the guessing part or you can just go with the flow

Rule no.3 : The winner is the group that guesses  the Name of the statue and if you want, also the Artist, the Place where it can be found or any other details you choose

You have to make sure that children understand all the rules and that information is not unveiled to the Guessing Group, before the game ends. The person or group that chooses which statue they will imitate, will have to whisper it's name (the name of the statue, not their name:) to the person imitating it, so the rest of the group doesn't hear it (they will have to guess it, so..:)

Encourage the children to be creative, when they imitate the statue, they can experiment with postures and facial expressions, the more they experiment, the funnier this game is
