To play this game you will need to find various items during your hike, that have different color and shape. Maybe you will stop to look at some stones, or maybe a tree, or leaves. Their shape or color can differ from one season to another, you will have to let children figure that out.
Look for various items on your way or even while you take a walk in the park. Try to analyze them and name the shape you're seeing or the color. The more items you find, the better. Try not using the same words for the items you find. Fore example, if you find a green rounded leaf and after two minutes you find another leaf, try to use a different word to describe it(on purpose). You can even make a rule to not use the same word twice.
While hiking and enjoying Nature, children can learn a lot of new words and improve their vocabulary, speech and attention. The goal of this game is to understand the patterns and the language of Nature, that is based on the same principles as human language. when we manage to figure out how plants communicate or wild animals, we are one step ahead of our simple human nature.
