Mysteries of the Forest – The Froggy Trail

The “Mysteries of the Forest” themed trail arranged by the Transylvania Nature Association, together with the Green Eco Association invites you to observe the fauna, flora and birds. The path contains 6 educational-formative panels that describe the ecosystem of the forest and are addressed to children, but also to adults. For this reason we recommend this route to families.

If you start from the House on wheels, the entrance to the route is from the area of the Astronomical Observatory, and the route ends in Cerbului street in the village of Făget. The whole route is marked. All you have to do is follow the frog. The path is 100% in the forest and the level differences are small and can be easily traveled by everyone, both children and those with a weaker physical condition.

The 6 information boards are located from place to place and provide information for children and adults about the creatures and plants that live in the forest.

The path was laid out within the Man, friend of nature project, a project financed by the Partnership Foundation and MOL Romania, within the Green Spaces Program.

The Mysteries of the Forest is an ideal route for beginners or for those who want to make friends with the forest

Necessary equipment: clothes according to the season and hiking boots
